First, install the ~sedna presenter Cloud Migration Tool on the computer where the license to be migrated is located.
Open the ‚terminal‘ app on this computer or establish a remote terminal ssh connection to the computer.

 

Enter this command:
sudo /Applications/Presenter Cloud Migration Tool.app/Contents/Resources/migrationctl -player -sednaid 123456
-sednakey AAAA-1111-BBBB-2222 
-name $(hostname)  

 

If you are migrating a Creator Pro license please change „-player“ with „-creator“ in the command line.


Replace the six digits ~sedna ID and the ~sedna Key with your Presenter Cloud credentials. You can change the host name as well (optional):

 


-name  newname

 

Read the terms and conditions carefully and accept them by entering „yes“ when prompted.


When all input was correct, you will see a dialog confirming the successful activation of the cloud license.


You can then install and use Player 4.0.1 (compatible with OS X 10.10 “Yosemite” and OS X 10.11 “El Capitan“).
If you already have upgraded to macOS Sierra (10.12) or High Sierra (10.13),
you will need a paid upgrade for your ~sedna presenter license to version 4.5.
